It's the month of Ramadhan where Muslims are fasting.
Busy with Uni life. It's my last semester there of studying there. Wohoo~!! Teaching Practice next... Cannot wait. Then, graduation~!! ^_^

My ordered shirts and cargo pants have arrived. Yippee~!! Wear it yesterday. Got teased by it. Haha.

Tweak Me, Tweak Me Not

Looks like there's a little bit of problem of the current layout i'm using. The featured posts are somewhat distorted or wrongly done. See picture above. I don't know what happen to it. A few weeks ago, it works fine but now, something is wrong with it. But now, i tweak (edit) it to make it look nicer but i have to delete some of the code. Thank goodness, i have no problem with it.

And also, the drop & pop out menu of the 'About' also is not working. I'm trying to figure out on how to re-code the CSS but i'm no expert in CSS-ing. Everytime i read the CSS code, it gives me a headache. Haha.

And it seems that i'm not the only one with this problem. Some other bloggers who uses the same layout have the same problems. Hmm...

Snsd is back with their new single, Tell Me Your Wish (Genie). With their sailor look and some of them sporting a new haircut. They look smoking hot. Out of the nine girls, i especially like Tae Yeon new look, with a much longer hair than before and orange-ish brown copper(?) hair. It definitely suits her. I also like Yoona's hair as well. Check out their video and their comeback.

The song 'Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)' is not as catchy as 'Gee' but if you listens to it repetitatively, you'll fall in love with this song. It sounds so sexy and seducing.

I love their dance in the MV especially the legs. Haha.

Album Tiga - Rafiz, The Seeds and Nash

I just bought the 'Tiga' album CD from our own local artist - Nash, Rafiz, and Dillah the Seeds. Here's the look of the CD. Not only i have the CD, i was also given a signed picture of them. The three of them were at the Mall but i didn't manage to take a picture of them as i didn't brought my digital camera and i just didn't trust the capability of my mobile camera. They are currently promoting the album during the Golden pages expo and selling the album for $12 only. I think you can also catch them during the 2nd part of the Golden pages expo this weekend.

OMG. I cannot believe that i have just sign up for twitter. To be frank, i have no idea what twitter is all about. I have heard about it but not really to sure what use could it be to me. Why did i sign up for it, you say? Well, this is because of my new layout. Haha. Weird reason? Well, when you look at the top right of the page, you can see twitter bird right? It is clickable and originally the url was supposed to link to the original user of this layout (FYI, i copy and paste the layout, i don't know how to make my own templates) so i decided to edit the url link and made my own. So, i sign-up for twitter. Well, anyway, i have no regrets in signing up for twitter, it could be useful to me, who knows right? and it is currently a trend nowadays for people to twitter. Even, somebody is dying for twittering.

Anyway, i like my new layout. It is called 'Smoky'. I got it from google search and it's on the first list. But i think i may have to do some editing to the layout as some of the menus are not functioning and somewhat not relevant to this blog. Guess, i have to figure out how to do the editing of the HTML without ruining the code.

p/s: even BruDirect are currently twittering right now. How cool is that?

Missing in Action

It's been a while i've been updating this blog. The last time i blogged is like what, April. That was like 3 months ago. And a lot of stuff have been happening, and i think i'm going to blog about it in terms of flashback. If i still remember what has happened though the entire month that i have been missing in writing this blog. But i try to remember it. And since i am currently jobless for the entire month until the start of the next semester. Talking about new semester, i am so looking forward to it two different reasons: first reason is, which i don't think people would believe this, I want to study and get As (Haha, can you believe it?) and the second reason is, next semester is going to be my last (i hope so) semester. I am so looking forward to it.

Anyway, if you come across this blog. Please take your time to click some of the ads, okay?! Although, currently my google adsense have not been approved yet, i have applied it last year but it was rejected due to some of the conditions are not met. But hopefully now, my adsense would be accepted. I am trying to make some money here. Hehe. Okay, that's all for now.

N i did check out their video... i was like... woo~!! with their new hairstyle, black n white music vidz n the dance... HOT to the max. Damn... i want to learn the dance.

Been popseoul-ing it's been a while i browse popseoul.com. usually once in a week checked out popseoul.com but it's been a while. FYI, popseoul.com is my news source for korean celebrity news and gossips. It is fun to read although it feels like popseoul is being biased, well, whatever just bring me all the juicy gossips then i'll be happy. Anyway, back to the topic, when i surf around found out about this new duo group... Jumper or 점퍼 and then i viewed their videoclip and listen to the songs, the video is nice and the songs is nice also catchy. It's not as hot as SeungRi's strong baby buy hey, it is listenable. Pines Restaurant

Pines restaurant, the new Korean restaurant located in Gadong. I went there with my friend yesterday, the restaurant is still new. and that's the reason why i would like to try it and since it's the 2nd(?) Korean restaurant in Brunei. I'm curious of the Korean menu available there. Actually, we didn't know the exact location of this Pines restaurant. I only know it is in Gadong, on top of FunBread cafe for which i have no idea where. Haha. So how did we found out this restaurant. We WALKED through to the whole gadong, well not exactly whole but the centre of Gadong. After walking for a while, we spotted FunBread cafe and it turns out that i know where FunBread is, it's just i rarely passby at the area.

And then, we noticed the small(i think it was small at that time) sign 'Pines restaurant' (but now they have a big label now, so i'm sure everyone would notice) then went to the 1st floor and we thought it was close due to the "closed" label but fortunately one of the waiter took notice of us so he invited us to come. My first impression when i walk in was "wow". Nice place and it looks like excapade sushi but more spacey, just like ranoadidas.com mention in his blog and of course the most important, the Korean table. The one with the stove so we were seated at table 9. Sort of private table with separation wall and an amazing thing is, bell is provided if we want to call the waiter. So, we ordered JabChae, Korean noodle Kimbap Cheese Roll and California roll. and beside that, there's a 5 side dish. Kimchi, "sambal", and two others which i have no idea what, and rice porridge. Overall, it was quite satisfying and we didn't have any regret eating there.

Clockwise: The Bell, The Steel Spoon and Chopstick, Kimbap Cheese Roll (Nyaman...), The Side dishes and California Roll.

PINES Restaurant is located at Block E Unit 4&5, 1st Floor, Abdul Razak Complex, Gadong, BE3519, Brunei Darussalam. As mentioned by Ranoadidas, on top of FunBread and spectacle shop.

Ooh~!! This is one of the top song in Music Bank right now... doesn't know if it still is ranked at the top... i only heard it from my cingu(friend)... At first, i didn't actually like this song... i think it is because i was more focus on Seung Ri - Strong Baby on my previous post... hehe... but when i give it a try, listen to it and watch the video clip... i was like... wow... this song is not bad... the video clip... ooh~!! i'm in Lurve~!! Hahaa... SNSD or 소녀시대 or Girl's Generation is actually a nine group girls from South Korea... N they all are so pretty and cute... although there are some controversy along the line... i still like them and love their song... The song Gee is pretty catchy... and i love it in the video clip when they move their hips when the 'Baby baby baby' part comes... Haha... the video also involves MinHo of SHiNee... A bit of warning though when watching the videoclip... once you viewed it once... you might not want to stop viewing it over and over again... Ehehe...

Prince of Tennis Manga

Okez. Seriously. What i've been doing during this holiday that i've been updateless. Hehe. I've been reading the manga 'Prince of Tennis' or テニスの王子様 Tenisu no Ōjisama. Click here for info on it but if you've been reading manga a lot, i'm sure you've heard of Prince of Tennis. It's been published in 1999 but only now that i read it. Why, you say? This is because it's not available in Brunei, i think. It was published at "Arena Komik" but i didn't buy that anymore due to unforeseen circumstances.

So yeah... if you want to read it, go to onemanga.com and look for Prince of Tennis. Once you read it. You're definitely hooked like me. Eheh. Total episode is 379~!! and i've just finished it last night and it took me 2 weeks or 3 weeks to finish it up. Haha. Reading the manga Prince of Tennis inspire me a bit in playing Squash(?). Ehe... yeah... Squash. In the manga, they are a lot of different playing styles and techniques, and it mentioned how to do the techniques, the explanation behind it... and so i try to apply it to Squash. So people... it's worth reading the manga Prince of Tennis, if you're into manga anyways. =p~

This is just to update the blog~!! Haha...

Last week, i bought myself or should i say my family a digital camera. Canon IXUS 960 IS. It's a 12.1 megapixel camera. N it costs me $370 only. Almost half the price of that of QQestore. Seriously man. That's one of the reason i bought it. Because, frankly speaking. The brand Canon, doesn't impress me in terms of point-and-shoot digital camera. I'm more into Sony Cybershot. Haha... for more info about the Canon IXUS 960 IS, go here. Nyway, my next target of camera is the SLR. It seems like SLR is the camera-trend right now and i'm being envious because my friend, Safwan, bought himself a DSLR camera and it was fun to use. Haha... SLR~!! You're next!!

Death Race

Watched Death Race yesterday with my friends at the Cineplex, Mall. The movie is amazing. I didn't expect for it to be so COOL~!! I recommend you guys to watch it. Though, a reminder: the graphics are violence and a lot of foul language is used.

I give the movie 8 out of 10.

All i can say after watching the movie, i'm totally satisfied. Loved the ending.

Read an article from yesterday's Borneo Bulletin, we are going to see in the near future, our own Made-in-Brunei Handphone~!! Wohoo~!! I'm so excited about this and i definitely cannot wait for it. Seriously, i have been imagining Brunei having their own handphone factory and now, my imagination have come true. Though, i wish i was the one who started to set up Brunei own's handphone factory. Haha. Nevertheless, i will definitely support this Made-in-Brunei Handphone.

Results Are Out

UBD exam results are out~!! Finally~!! Alhamdulillah... i passed all my subjects~!! Here's the results:
LE2506 = B (english)
PF1201 = B (intro to education & schooling)
PF1203 = C (intro to sociology)
PP2203 = C (development psychology)
PS3204 = D (method of teaching chemistry)
PS3205 = C (method of teaching maths)
PS3401 = B (recreational maths)

Overall, i have no idea... coz it wasn't stated... going to check it out later at UBD. Didn't expect LE2506 = english to be B... i feel hopeless when i found out that our english lecturer changed during the beginning of the semester... it was like... OMG~!! I'm never gonna get a B anymore...(i'm so pessimist) last semester, i've got B for my english for the 1st time... N also during LE2506 exam, i didn't even finished my paper... N still i've got a B... Hurray~!! =p~

My results was better than last semester... more B~!! but it might be due to the fact that currently i'm in SHBIE, teaching course... not FOS, maths & chemistry course...

and now, i can relax n enjoy myself to da max...~!! ehehe...

DST Go!broadband

I'm currently excited right now... because, DST~!! yeah.., one of our own mobile service provider is going broadband~!! Hurray~!! Check out their website about the DST Go!broadband here although some of the features are still under "upgrade" as it mentioned on the website... Nevertheless, it is so exciting now DST is going broadband~!! The coolest thing that i've found is ... you can share ur broadband with others thru Wi-Fi router(it wasn't cool for someone who doesn't want to share) and plug n surf, that is using USB Modem connected to Laptop/PC which from the looks of it... quite smaller than b.Mobile's USB Modem... just like a flash pen drive from the looks of it but who knows when i see it in my hand.

and tomorrow is the roadshow for the DST Go!broadband at Jerudong Park Amphitheater till this sunday... i want to go... but exam is coming and I still need to revise a lot~!! Damn~!! It was a wrong timing.

Critical Review Presentations

This morning, i did my critical review presentations for my english... at 1st, coming to the lecture, i wasn't very nervous at all... i was very2 calm(seriously)... it's like... i don't give a damn~!! N honestly, i wasn't really ready to present... mlmnya k excapade kaliiah... later i'll blog about it...

Back to the english presentations, i wasn't thinking about my presentations until Piaget(Steven Li) starts to annoy me with his comments about the presenters... like "She shouldn't do this.., Owh... she's good... N bla bla bla"...N i was like "Stop it, Steven". It makes me feel nervous...

However, during my presentations, i was nervous... definitely, i still couldn't overcome my nervousness as usual... haha =p~ I just talk it out~!! N Thank God, it went well(i think laa.., i just want to get it over with) N there's no presentation left for me except for my peer teaching practice for chemistry N maths...

Raymond Tan

Hey... Raymond~!! You want me to write about u right?? I'm writing about u now...~!! Hehe =p~ Raymond is a friend of mine whom i know during our 1st semester in UBD, back in 2006... Got the same class as him in LE1503 english for science education... both of us take the same course... b.Sc Education with different minor with the same major... He's an accounting minor... N we've been in the same english class for the past, almost 4 semester... almost sick of him. hehe... Raymond... just kidding~!! =p

Anyyway, last saturday... he did a maths peer teaching... with Steven Li, it was an interesting lesson for us... you're a good teacher, Raymond and Steven also... and i found it a bit funny when Steven use teacher for a male teacher (for e.g. Teacher Raymond) instead of using sir... and even Raymond used teacher for Steven... Teacher Steven... All of us laughed... Shouldn't it be Sir Steven and Sir Raymond instead of Teacher Steven and Teacher Raymond?? ...
